Formula for cutting calculation

Q = LGCD

Where;
Q = Order quantity
L = # of ply in a lay
G = # of garment in marker
C = # of cut per day
D = Available day for cutting

Assumption

• Factory has sufficient cutting table
• Table length match the marker length
• Equipment and labor available

Reminding 

• Cutting target > Sewing target
• A 10% more cut is necessary for uninterrupted input
• Cutting starts at least one day prior to starts bulk production
•  # of cut = # of marker

Example :
Item: Men’ Full Sleeve Shirt, Order Quantity: 24,000 pieces
Daily input to sewing section: 2,400 pieces, Available days for completion: 10
